New Blog: Cancelled due to lack of interest

There is a new blog in town, here on Blogger, called pewsey music festival which, you may have guessed, is about PMF but

also the local music scene

If any local peeps want to contribute on the PMF blog let us know (email or comments below), so if you are organising any gigs in pubs, village halls etc or any news/gossip about the local music scene around Pewsey let us know. It would be great if all the music info was all in one place.
On the blog you will find a photo set of the Convulsions gig at the Coopers Arms last Sunday. As promised in my previous post much jollity did prevail and as a bonus the sun came out so we were all outside.

Convulsions @ Coopers Arms Pewsey

Just to let all the local peeps out there know that the Convulsions will be playing at the world famous Coopers Arms Pewsey this Sunday 23rd August in the afternoon. Much jollity should prevail but remember to keep hold of your drinks when Ben starts dancing.

A Post to test Apture

Here is a quick post to test the use of apture So bear with me as I try out the multi media options. Ok that was straight forward now let's see with some more difficult subject matter. How about Pewsey? Well I am impressed it found my own photo on Flickr. Lets carry on, Pewsey Music Festival ok it found me again and not much more but ah!

Pewsey Music Festival 2009

Well it finally happened and what a super time everybody had. The bands were great, the food excellent, the beer so good we nearly drunk the pub dry and last and not least the sun was out.    Just like to say a big thank you to all the people involved in organising such a great event. You all know who you are but a special thank you to Lizzie for making it happen. Photos will be posted on the festival web site  when everybody gets their breath back but in the mean time here's a collage of the days events as a taster.

Pewsey Music Festival

Only 1 week to go before the festival (and its still raining) but after our experience with 2007 (more rain) it will certainly go ahead   so see you there (I’ll be the one with the camera in a plastic bag (the camera not me)).

I have also updated my web site with a couple of new photos including another panorama which I took between rain this week. Honestly the sun did come out briefly see the photos.
